I was tasked to review and advise on a classmates website thus far in the semester. A peer review can be a super beneficial editing process, for the reviewer and the reviewee. I found when it came to dissecting someone else’s work there is a fine line to follow, especially at the earlier stages of their content. This was a super insightful experience for myself; when you are going over someone else’s work there is no biases therefore you can get a true understanding of your perception. When it came to taking note of the likes and dislikes of the persons website I was able to relate and compare many pieces to my own work. This was very helpful as my content still needed plenty of editing so to see someone succeeding gave me a lot of valuable information that I could transfer to my own platform.
